Barack Obama says that his low rating is a reflection of public dissatisfaction with the Congress.
Obama said in an interview with CBS on Saturday that if people are not satisfied with Washington, it affects him, as well as the Congress.
He says he understands that the situation would be worse if he had not taken certain actions that did not resonate with millions of unemployed.

Former FBI agent Ali Sufan, who wrote the book about terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, complained to the media that the CIA censored his memoirs.
Sufan’s lawyer said that security forces prevent the publication of the book, because they are not satisfied with its content.

19-year-old Nicholas Allegra, who is a well known developer of tools for “hacking” of the operating system iOS, will start internship with Apple.
In his blog on Twitter, Allegra said that he will be an intern at Apple in early September.
Note, that it was Allegra who had developed tools JailbreakMe and Spirit for “jailbreak” of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

A group of U.S. senators from the Republican Party has made an offer to the U.S. Senate, according to which the government should not give citizenship to children born in the United States from illegal immigrants.
Note that if this proposal is accepted, it will require an amendment to the Constitution of the United States because according to it a citizen of the US is any person born on its territory.

U.S. rapper Wycleaf Jean gathered up all the required documents and successfully registered as a candidate for president of Haiti.
Thus, the musician will participate in the presidential elections to be held in late November 2010.
For this position the musician will compete with his uncle, and also the former prime minister of Haiti, and other Haitian diplomats.

On Friday, Mr. Obama approved the plan to build a mosque on the place of terrorist attacks on September 11, saying that it relates to the democratic principles of the country.

Barack Obama’s popularity fell slightly in the U.S., but he still has a lot of fans in Europe.
The results of the survey published on Wednesday showed that three-quarters of 11 European countries favor Obama’s international politics, compared with half of Americans.

Chief Economic Advisor of the U.S. President, Barack Obama, Larry Summers plans to resign by the end of 2010.
The officer himself refuses to call the cause of his upcoming departure. He just announced that he intends to return to teaching at Harvard and writing works on basic economics.

President Obama is speaking on Thursday before the UN General Assembly with a speech in which he is going to highlight his achievements in international politics for the time spent on duty, especially the peace in the Middle East.
In his speech, the president wants to ask the international community to rally around Palestinian-Israeli peace process, to urge the United Nations to support the agreement, which would result in the formation of independent state of Palestine and Israel, with strong boundaries, in a year.
